The Academics at Ss. Robert & William Catholic School blend rigorous instruction with our rich Catholic identity. Located in Euclid, Ohio, our school offers a continuous, sequential Kindergarten through Grade 8 curriculum designed in partnership with the Diocese of Cleveland and aligned with Ohio Department of Education State Standards. Driven by a certified, dedicated faculty, our academic layout transitions students smoothly from self-contained early education classrooms into specialist-led, departmentalized upper grades. Across every grade level, we enrich basic classroom instruction through hands-on STEM education, fine arts, and co-curricular programs—such as Mathletes and robotics—ensuring each child is nurtured to achieve their highest intellectual, social, and spiritual potential.

Subject matter is delivered by teachers who each specialize in one (or two) curricular areas. Basic classroom instruction is supplemented in many ways. All students participate in additional educational programs, such as assemblies, that correspond to curriculum objectives, and co-curricular activities, i.e. Art Show, Science Fair, and Choral Concerts.
Teachers oversee after-school clubs and activities that enrich and support student academics. In the past, these clubs have included Mathletes, Spelling Bee, Geography Bee, Book Clubs, STREAM Club, Robotics, and Power of the Pen. These clubs change year-to-year and are offered to various grade levels.
Support Services
Ohio Auxiliary Services provides funding to hire additional personnel to assist with student achievement. Students are screened to determine if they are eligible to participate in the various areas. In addition, parent/guardian and teacher referrals are made. The following specialists are available at SRW:
Counselor: Ss. Robert & William Catholic School works in conjunction with the Euclid School District for psychological testing. In addition, teachers and/or parents may refer a child for assessments, counseling, consultations, and other related services through the school counselor. Such requests may be made by contacting the principals or in writing addressed to the school counselor.
Speech/Language Pathologist: The services of a Speech and Hearing Therapist are available through Auxiliary Service Funds. The therapist instructs students at Ss. Robert & William Catholic School in need of therapy after obtaining permission from the parents.
Remedial Math Tutor: Individual and small group instruction in math is given to those students who qualify.
Remedial Reading Tutor: Individual and small group instruction in reading is given to those students who qualify.
Intervention Specialist: Individual tutoring by a certified teacher is provided for children with learning disabilities on all grade levels.
Licensed Nurse: A licensed practical nurse is on site from 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM each day.
Enrichment
An Enrichment/Gifted teacher is on staff three days each week to work with students who, through testing, are identified as gifted. Small group lessons are the primary method used to instruct these students. In addition, Enrichment lessons are presented to whole classes of students throughout the year to afford them the opportunity to experience these innovative lessons.
